Best LA Galaxy Betting Predictions
In 2019, Los Angeles Galaxy has had less than stellar performance. Zlatan Ibrahimović and his 30 goals weren’t enough to lead the team past the fifth place. The team ended the season with 16 wins, 15 losses, and three draws.
With the Swedish forward now gone, and the fresh addition of players like Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez, Aleksandar Kitai and Emiliano Insua, we are definitely in for an exciting season.
History of LA Galaxy
Los Angeles Galaxy was founded in 1994 and it was one of Major League Soccer’s 10 founding members. The team is based in Carson, California, which makes it part of the Western Conference.
In its early years, the club’s home games were played in Pasadena, California at the Rose Bowl stadium. From 2003 onward, the club changed its home stadium to Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson.
The club rose to worldwide prominence with their high-profile transfer, signing David Beckham from Real Madrid. The transaction was only the first in a series of high-profile transfers which have continued to the present day. LA Galaxy is the second most valuable team in the league, with an estimated worth of around $480 million.
Created two years prior to the first MLS season, in 1994, the club’s name was inspired by Hollywood’s “stars”. LA Galaxy finished first in the Western Conference of the inaugural season in 1996 but ended up losing to D.C. United in the final. The club continued stringing successes.
